Rylee and Chloe had fun dressing up and playing in the kitchen the whole time we were there.
Our last trip of the summer was to Arizona for a family reunion. Our good friends, the Vickroys, moved to Arizona in June so we were able to swing by and spend a few days with them before
heading further north for the reunion.

After a day at the house, catching up and letting the kids play we headed to Rawhide Wild West Town.As we entered Rawhide, there was a gunfight. It was really loud and scared Cole, but Rylee slept through the whole thing. We had a yummy steak dinner and then headed to an old-fashioned candy store.

The highlight of the night was our little train ride. The kids really enjoyed it. And we watched the sunset as we went around the little track. Arizona sunsets are beautiful!!
As we were leaving, I asked Cole if he liked Rawhide. He said he didn't at all. I asked, "Oh, really? You didn't like your dinner?" He said, "No, I loved my dinner." I asked, "oh, so you didn't like the candy store?" He said, "No, I loved the candy store." Then I said, "so you must've not enjoyed the train ride." He said, "No, I loved the train ride." And I went on to say that I didn't understand why he didn't like it if he liked everything about it. And he said, "I didn't like the gunfight at all." I couldn't believe after all of that he even remembered the little five minute gunfight. He is so funny! We had a great time! Thanks, Jamie, for your hospitality! We're sorry we missed Nathan but hope to come back out again!
